This home was built along the waterfront in Saxman in 2009. Your hosts live in the upper portion of the home and the lower portion was built as a guest suite for vacation travelers. The guest suite has been completely equipped for the comfort of a guest traveler.

Guests can enjoy the view as large passenger ships, tug boats and float planes pass heading for the downtown harbor. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets and the lights of town reflecting from the water.

Right next to the house is a large tree with an active eagle's nest. This is one of the most photographed trees on the island!

The Beaver Clan Tribal House is only a short distance away where you can view totem poles and native art.

This Saxman vacation rental is in a very convenient location. The heart of downtown is only a 2 mile walk on the bike path. The city bus stops just a few yards away from the front door and the oceanfront view can keep you occupied for hours.

Saxman has the largest gatherings of totem poles in the entire world.

Local native carvers are at work in the carving sheds not far from the house. These sheds are open for tours.

The Saxman recreation center is a short walk from the house where you can enjoy a walking track, exercise equipment and open gym for a small fee.

 

 

 

 

 

      The vacation rental has an open kitchen, living room design to utilize the waterfront view.

There is a  flat screen TV in the living room for your enjoyment.
There is also high speed internet, cable TV and a DVD player.
Both bedrooms are of equal size and both have queen size beds.
