Herring Cove is one of the most requested areas where our guests like to stay. It is a quiet residential area at the end of the road where wildlife viewing is at a premium.

The summer time hustle and bustle of downtown Ketchikan is only a short 8 mile drive away.

Some attractions within walking distance of these vacation rentals include; Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary, Canopy Adventures, the fish hatchery, nature trails, waterfalls, and wildlife viewing.

The Salmon Suite is on the upper level and the Halibut Suite is on the lower level.
Both units are handicapped accessible.

Two complete two bedroom apartment suites - details are listed below...

Salmon Suite - is on the upper level of the building. It is a 1200 sq. ft. two-bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms have king-size beds than can be made up as two twin beds. The living room also has a queen size sofa sleeper. The bathroom is shower only. This unit has large windows that face the ocean. The large covered deck has a gas barbecue. Amenities in this suite include; iron & ironing board, private phone line, TV with VCR & DVD, high speed internet, washer and dryer. This unit is handicapped accessible.

3 night minimum stay required
Rate: $150 per night double occupancy - $25 for each additional person - Maximum 6 persons

These photos show the Salmon Suite set up with a king bed in both rooms. The bedrooms are large and the kings can be made up as two twins. There is also enough room for an additional roll-away bed.

The living room sofa also makes up as a queen bed.

During this time bears are fishing in the stream and can be viewed below as you drive across the bridge.
