This 1920's harbor
view cottage is a sweet spot for a romantic get-away.
Enjoy your days in
Ketchikan at this charming, little, cottage in the
popular Water Street area. Guests can watch as large
passenger ships, tug boats and float planes come and go from
the busy downtown harbor. In the evening enjoy your dinner
in front of the fireplace and look out over the city and
harbor lights.
The cottage
was completely restored in 2008. The original hardwood
floors are beautiful again and extensive porcelain tile work
in the bathroom and kitchen is reminiscent of the 1920s era.
The fun interior decor is an eclectic mix of color and art.
Although
you are downtown the back of the house feels very private
surrounded by large Cedar and Hemlock Trees.
The large open deck is a wonderful place for a barbeque
while you enjoy the views of the harbor, garden, plants and
trees.
The heart of downtown
is about 1/8 mile walk south of the cottage and there is a
city bus stop less than 2 blocks away. |
