The evening sunsets on the water were incredible. The whale watching was an added plus but the best part of our vacation was roasting hot dogs and marshmellows from a fire on the beach. We look forward to our visit next summer!

This little guest house is on a sloping hill just above a sandy beach. From the large picture windows you can relax on the sofa and watch the ships pass and the whales play. In the evening the sunsets are spectacular and the northern lights are an awesome sight above the water. The flashing light of the nearby Guard Island light house and the sounds of the ocean are so soothing in the evening.

All of the comforts of home! A fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom w/shower, and the sofa in the living room folds out to a double bed. For the business traveler we have internet connection. Enjoy the water view from the living room and kitchen through the floor to ceiling picture windows. Watch as eagles pull salmon from the ocean and the seals and otter play!

Learn How to Smoke Fish the Alaska Way: Session is 4 hours, includes filleting fish, brining, drying methods and smoking. Packaged samples to take home. Class limited to four students, by appointment only.  All supplies included - Cost: $50

Make Your Own Jellies and Jams: 4 hour classes including identifying and picking your own berries, making jellies and jams and canning your product. All products go home with you. Classes limited to four, by appointment only.  All supplies included - Cost: $50
