This B&B is highly recommended in
Frommer's travel magazines and it is by far our most
requested downtown listing and the many return guests let us
know why they prefer this beautifully appointed bed &
breakfast. They tell us it is in the thoughtful little
details, the convenient location, the exceptionally clean
rooms, the reasonable rates, the tasteful decor, the beautiful mountain and harbor
views, and what we hear the most is they come back to see
Cherry and Tom the warm and hospitable hosts whom they call,
"our friends".

The home underwent an extensive remodel in the year 2000. The large, airy
guest rooms and a cozy common room were added to the home the
family has owned since the 1940s. The superior craftsmanship and architectural
style
add visual interest to both the interior and exterior of the
home.
The interestingly shaped windows in the front of
the home frame the views of the ocean and mountains while the
rear of the home is surrounded by big trees, ferns and shrubs
creating a private park-like atmosphere which entices guests to
linger awhile on the way to their rooms.
Both suites and the room are equipped with
many amenities, including refrigerators stuffed with breakfast
foods and goodies.
All of the rooms
have private bathrooms and private entries.
The Yukon Room is the common area for all the guests to
enjoy. It is filled with interesting antiques and
memorabilia of the family's many years in Alaska. There are
large picture windows in this room and comfortable chairs
and a sofa to get cozy and take in the view.
Town is only a 10 minute
walk down the road. Taxis are available 24 hours a day and a
city bus stop is just a few blocks away.
On July 4th you won't find
a better window to view the Ketchikan harbor fireworks!
Two Suites
and One Room details are listed below...
The
Master Suite - High ceilings and large windows makes this room feel bright
and sunny even on a rainy day. Watch the ships come and go from the enclosed balcony.
Queen sized bed, sofa, private bath with tub and shower combination, private phone and private entry. There is a
breakfast bar in this suite with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. This suite has
a beautiful view of the harbor.

The Bear Room - This is the smaller of the three rooms but still comfortably
roomy and delightfully decorated in a bear theme. This room has a cozy queen bed, large
private bath with a shower, TV, private phone and private entry. It shares an enclosed
balcony with the master suite and has an awesome view of the harbor.

The Lower Level Suite -
A very spacious
one bedroom suite.
All the conveniences you will need for an extended stay. Large fully equipped kitchenette
and dining area. Step up into your beautiful airy bedroom with a comfortable queen and a
twin bed. The bedroom also has a spacious sitting area. Cable TV, private phone,
private bath with a shower, and private entry. This suite
also has a washer/dryer. Enjoy the wonderful view of the harbor.

This suite has a 5 night minimum stay

The Yukon Room - is available to all guests at the B&B. This room is
filled with antiques and memorabilia of the family's years in Alaska. Watch the ships

and go in the busy harbor or view eagles from the large picture windows.
The Master Suite and the Bear Room
share an enclosed balcony. Binoculars are provided for guests to get
a closer look at the daily activities of Ketchikan's busy harbor.
This

This recently updated Bed & Breakfast Inn was built in the early 1940s.
Interesting architecture, craftsmanship and style is shown throughout the home. Every room
has an excellent view of Ketchikan's busy waterfront, all rooms have private entries and
