If you want to experience the hubbub of downtown Juneau and all the tourist-related shops, cruise ship docks, the Mount Roberts Tram, the salmon hatchery, raptor center and more trails, you can leave the lakeside and simply drive 15-20 minutes to the center of town. There you can enjoy a multitude of great restaurants, some top-notch theater or an outdoor concert by local artists at Marine Park.
