helicopter & floatplane tours, numerous
bike
paths & hiking trails (for all skill levels
and physical abilities) and Mendenhall
Glacier with float trips for either kayaking or
river rafting.
This B&B is also located
near the ferry terminal and the Auke Bay Marina
for easy access to fishing charters, whale watching tours
and day trips to Haines, Skagway, Gustavus and Glacier Bay.
Just a few feet from the B&B is the dock where watercraft is
available for your use on the lake. |

Breakfast is served between the
hours of 7 and 10 each morning. Guests can choose to eat in the dining
room or on the deck overlooking the lake. The deluxe self-serve
continental breakfast consists of choices such as; cereals, fresh fruit,
juice, muffins, yogurts and coffee & tea.
At the
end of your day you can relax on the deck and watch the sunset over the
lake or soak in the huge hot tub! |

The Timberline Suite is about 500 sq
ft and has beautiful custom-made
furniture that includes a canopy
king bed. It also has a queen size
sofa sleeper, refrigerator and
coffee pot. This suite has the most
commanding view of the lake, high
vaulted ceilings and is divided up
into a sleeping area and a sitting
area separated by a beautiful room
divider. It also has a private bath
with shower and a large walk-in
closet.
Rate: $165 per night double
occupancy -
$15 for each additional person - Maximum 4 people |
The Serengeti
Suite is about 500 sq ft and has a beautiful view of the lake, a king size bed, a
queen size sofa sleeper and desk. It is decorated with mementos of the owners
year in Africa. This is a large suite with a kitchenette and table set
with refrigerator, microwave, coffee
pot and a private full bath.
Rate: $165 per night double
occupancy -
$15 for each additional person - Maximum 4 people |
The
Lakeside
Suite has a separate bedroom and small sitting room with a small futon
sofa that will accommodate an
additional guest. This suite has a
private bath with shower, desk,
refrigerator, a coffee pot and a
view of the lake.

The Tanglewood Suite has a separate
bedroom and a small sitting room
with space for an airbed to provide
accommodations for a child. This
suite has a queen bed in the
bedroom, a sofa in the sitting area,
a refrigerator and coffee pot. It
also has a private full bath. This
room's theme celebrates the famous
Tanglewood Music Festival. There is
no view of the lake from this suite.

The
Alpine Room is the smallest room but
very cozy and comfortable. The bed
can be either made up as a king or
as 2 twins. This is a great room for
the kids to use when on a family
vacation. This room has a full
private bath, desk, a refrigerator,
a coffee pot and a beautiful view of
the lake.

Each room has wireless internet, refrigerators, coffeemakers and TV/VCR for your use. In the common
area between the rooms you may use the kitchen sink and microwave for light meals or
midnight snack.
Plenty of parking and a private entry to the B&B section of the home
make your comings and goings easy and convenient.
All guests are welcome to use the
hot tub on the deck.

If you want to experience the hubbub of
downtown Juneau and all the tourist-related shops, cruise ship docks, the Mount Roberts
Tram, the salmon hatchery, raptor center and more trails, you can leave the lakeside and
simply drive 15-20 minutes to the center of town. There you can enjoy a multitude of great
restaurants, some top-notch theater or an outdoor concert by local artists at Marine Park.
